20th Anniversary of 911

We ask the community to take a moment to honor the 2,977 men and women, 343 firefighters, 64 police officers and 8 private company EMTS, who died on that ill-fated day in 2001. These courageous United States citizens sacrificed their lives when our country was attacked by terrorists on that tragic day 20 years ago.

The Fire Department will not have a Remembrance Ceremony as planned due to the rise in Covid-19 within the community. In lieu of the Remembrance Ceremony, you may stop by Station 25 (220 Reef Road next to the Circle K) to leave flowers or notes at the 911 statute remembering the men and women who died that day.
